Meghan is the Senior Environmental Health and Safety Engineer at Commonwealth Fusion Systems, an innovative fusion energy startup located near Boston, Massachusetts. In this capacity, she manages industrial hygiene and occupational health initiatives, notably leading the establishment and implementation of the Beryllium Safety Program for research involving molten salt FLiBe. As a Certified Safety Professional, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health Science from Clarkson University. With over seven years of experience in occupational health and safety, Meghan specializes in the startup environment and advanced materials processing, playing a pivotal role in developing and maintaining safe and compliant operational practices.
