Wesley Adams is an Industrial Hygienist for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) – Los Alamos Field Office. Wesley holds a B.S. in Environmental Health Sciences from Salisbury State University in Salisbury, Maryland in addition to currently working on his Masters of Industrial Hygiene from Montana Tech. Wesley maintains current credentials as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
Throughout his 15 years of experience, he has held various positions in both public and private sectors across the United States including upstream oil and gas, commercial construction, datacenters, and the State of Maryland. Wesley’s background includes evaluating worker safety and health exposures with a specific interest in data analysis and statistics. Wesley specializes in building comprehensive environmental safety and health programs from the ground up and is known for building and mentoring teams while promoting a culture of collaboration, openness, and inclusion.
Prior to completing his bachelor’s degree, Wesley spent five years in both the construction and automotive industries which has shaped his view of workplace safety and health in addition to giving him a profound respect and sense of responsibility to the workforce. Wesley looks forward to continuing his desire to protect the workforce by volunteering for the Beryllium Health and Safety Committee. Wesley has been Chairing the BHSC Chair, Technical Practices Subcommittee since March 2024.
