Chair, Sampling & Analysis Subcommittee

Kul B. Garg, MS, CIH, REM, CSP

Kul Garg is an Industrial Hygienist for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) – Livermore Field Office.  Kul holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India; Masters in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech, Atlanta; and Masters in Environmental Engineering from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge.  Kul is a nationally Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) Registered Environmental Manager (REM), and Certified Safety Professional (CSP). 


During his 38 years of professional comprehensive IH experience, he has held various positions including as an Industrial Hygienist on active duty at various locations in United States Air Force for 20 years, Regional Industrial Hygienist for 15 years in U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs at Vancouver, WA, and Field Office Industrial Hygienist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for the last 3 years in U.S. Department of Energy.   


Kul looks forward to continuing his desire to protect the workforce by volunteering for the Beryllium Health and Safety Committee.  Kul has been Chairing the BHSC’s Sampling and Analysis Subcommittee since April 2022.
